Biography

Pierce Gordon is an actor, writer, and director originally from Detroit, Michigan. After relocating to Australia, he launched a dynamic career in the arts and has been working across film, television, and theatre since 2018.

Pierce’s early stage work includes his standout performance as Nick in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, produced by Ad Astra Theatre Company in Brisbane. He made his screen debut in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis and has continued to build a diverse slate of work, with roles such as Surgeon Marsh in Nautilus and Kevin Burge in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (Season 2).

His performances have earned recognition including Best Actor at the Gold Coast Film Festival and Best Emerging Artist at the Queensland Theatre Awards.

As a writer and director, Pierce premiered his original theatre work Why Young Men Run at 2am to widespread acclaim. He has since expanded into filmmaking, earning awards such as Best Director at the Cine Paris Film Festival for his co-directed feature film Love and Lemon Trees.

Pierce now splits his time between Australia and Vancouver, Canada, continuing to build an international career across both markets. He is represented by Kubler Auckland Management in Australia and The Characters Talent Agency in Canada.

In addition to his creative work, Pierce is also an acting coach, previously teaching at The Warehouse Workshop Screen Acting Studio, one of Queensland’s leading acting schools, where he mentors emerging performers and helps guide the next generation of screen talent.
