Biography
Pierce Gordon is an actor, writer, director, and coach from Detroit, Michigan. His move to Australia sparked his career in the arts, and he has been performing in film, television, and theatre since 2018. His early work includes portraying Nick in the stage production of ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf’, produced by Ad Astra Theatre Company in Brisbane, Australia.
Pierce made his screen debut in Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Elvis’ and has since been cast in a variety of roles, including Surgeon Marsh in ‘Nautilus’ and Kevin Burge in ‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’ (Season 2). His performances have been recognized with awards such as Best Actor at the Gold Coast Film Festival and Best Emerging Artist at the Queensland Theatre Awards.
As a writer and director, Pierce debuted his theatre piece ‘Why Young Men Run at 2am’, receiving widespread acclaim, and has gone on to direct film projects, earning accolades including Best Director at Cine Paris Film Festival.
Alongside his personal creative pursuits, Pierce worked as an acting coach at one of Australia’s leading screen acting studios, The Warehouse Workshop Screen Acting Studio, providing group classes and one-on-one coaching for emerging actors for over three years.
Pierce relocated to Vancouver in 2025 to further his creative career and is excited to collaborate with fellow artists at Tape House, supporting actors in capturing their best performances on tape.
